Color Analysis

Color Analysis - Explaining the Seasons and How they Work

Many women are confused about color analysis and how it actually works, most of them  do not understand the basic principles of what it means to be a cool or warm season and how that should help them choose the colors they wear. While we are all aware that certain colors look better on us than others, we do not always understand why that is or how to duplicate the results.

Color analysis starts by understanding that it is the undertone of your skin that is the important determination to make, by determining whether your skin tone is winter, spring, summer or fall, you will have a better idea of what colors to choose. Winter and summer have undertones that are primarily blue whereas the undertones for autumn and spring are primarily yellow. Once you have determined what colors look best on you it is important to get a set of color swatches to take shopping with you.

Need help with a color analysis? Carol Thompson Beauty Secrets can help you find your season and provide you with the color swatches that will help you stay true to your seasons colors when you shop.
